World Water Speed Record - Quicksilver

An attempt to regain the World water speed record by Team Director and Pilot Nigel MacKnight on Lake Coniston is scheduled in the near future. Marilake Aero Systems will be sponsoring the complete Cockpit Environment. Mr Philip Cubitt, our director, has been appointed as the Team's Communications Manager overseeing all ship-to-shore and emergency service communications throughout the project.

Thrust Supersonic Car (SSC)

Following an initial approach by Sqn Ldr Andy Green in 1996, Marilake designed, manufactured and installed the cockpit instruments for Richard Noble's Thrust SSC project. The cockpit environment was horrendous but the instrumentation performed faultlessly during the record-breaking runs. Marilake have incorporated the "lessons learned" into their design and development processes. The consequent product enhancements thus immediately benefit Marilake customers.
